All The Rest

Jensen loves the tractors that Grandma Garner sent him when he hurt his forehead. (Thank you so much Grandma- I'm a lazy bum for not having written to you sooner!) He cracked me up the first time I saw him do this- see how the tractor is tipped backward?  He makes them "moo" like cows and tips them like Mater and Lightning do in Cars. Always something new.

Bath time.

We went to Savannah to see Phil and Paula bless their new baby William.  The big boys went fishing and Daddy caught a big shark... he was very proud of it...and I went shopping while they ate it.

Jensen and Izzie playing around the dock.

Cousin hugs.

After the fishing we all got to go for a spin- which Jence liked for a minute.

Especially since crackers were involved.

But when the speed picked up to more than just idling he preferred to do his cracker eating in the cabin.
And then came the hoarding.

And then there were some big bumps and this is where we ended up as we pulled into the dock.

Jensen's first foray into the sprinkler.  He loved it.

Al thought it was pretty funny.

Cool dude with his sunglasses and shopping bag. And the color of my front room...after much deliberation...as you can see-

Here.
This is me trying to find a color for the bathroom... the one I chose is in there somewhere- and I love it.

Jensen in his water wonderland in our backyard.

Aside from the fact that this action ended in my clean laundry all over the floor, it was comical.

Basketball in the street out front.

Three's a crowd apparently... but necessary when dealing with little non-sharers.  These are the boys that live next door- and their much coveted mustang.

Kiki at nap time.

Jensen is officially learning to drive.
That's our house spewing boxes from the garage. They may or may not still all be there...

We went to Brittany's dad's houseboat for the fourth of July.  We had an absolutely wonderful weekend, surrounded by such wonderful people.  Jensen got it into his head that JD (Britt's dad) needed to have every single beanie baby in his lap.

He and Betty are great people.

Daniel was jumping off the top of the boat-

It was very exciting for the boys...

Jence and Kik... always Jensce and Kik.

While we were in KY a while back we got the grand tour of Papa John's campus.  We had a wonderful time!

And I'm all caught up!

Happy Happy Birthday Baby!

We got to celebrate Jensen's 2nd B-day in Kentucky with Grandma, Grandpa, Raine, Sashi and Daddy!
He blew out the candles all by himself.

And opened his present.

A helmet?

But then daddy brought out the accompanying part...

oooooohhhhh!
A "bi-sigh-kul"!

Let's ride!

Though not without the helmet...which meant a bit of a struggle...

But SO fun!  Aaaaand that was the last time he rode it.

Cake cake cake. We love us some cake...though I don't know what this face is all about...

This is me trying to show just how cool the helmet really is.

"Rockles!" better than bikes, I guess.

Then in Cleveland we had a little party at Chuck E Cheese. Jensen loved the tunnels.

He stayed up there for so long.

Liz and her friend played a whole lot of ski ball (After pretending that everything was too young for them...)
Originally he wanted me to come with him.

Jence and Mr. Cheese himself.

His favorite part of the afternoon was putting his tickets in the counting machine.

And the party was a success; we left with a spider a sucker and a smile!

Memorial Day and some kisses

So, here we have a post that is completely backward because I wasn't thinking about it and this is what happened.  That's what happens when you take too long between posts...
So this is on our way home from a Jensen family Memorial Day on Kelly's Island.  When your little 35 lbs monster becomes tired dead weight you have to find creative ways to transport him.
Playing with daddy.

Here Jensen is giving Al a piggy back ride.

He loves daddy's sunglasses...

and is so cute with them, but it made daddy too nervous so they were soon taken away.

Hugs for momma- I looove hugs.

Playing with aunt Boo.  Throwing the rocks that  they collect again and again-

here.

All of us at lunch on the beach- except mom, who was taking the picture.

Sulker. But so cute...

Jensen got to drive the golf cart.  For quite a while. And he loved it.

Though he posed for me in the backseat a lot.

On our way over to Kelly's Island. Mom, Liz, Boo and Jamie took the ferry time to be a little crazy...

Earlier in the day we went to see the parade in Bay. And look, we are all together! See Kiki down there?

He loved clapping for everybody.

We went to Virginia Beach with "Grandpa and Grandpa". Jence was never quite convinced that he liked the sea or the sand. But there were a few good moments.

See, here is the not so happy face, not sold that the crab was that interesting.

At the lovely guesthouse we stayed in... Jensen loved the coziness while watching Nitro Circus. Yes, Nitro Circus...

Luisa and Jence right before we left for the guesthouse.

So long, farewell... so cute. (though Kennedi may be feeling thwarted...)

"Hand Kiss" to Vanessa.

Roswitha we love you and miss you!!!
